Text Box: May 2010– picking and gathering veggies (squash, zucs,cucs,beans…) no tomatoes or peppers yet maybe next month. Maze is open weekends this month. The sunflower field is absolutely gorgeous. April 2010- Happy Easter. Sunflower field is growing fast. Warmer weather is blessing our fields. Seeing signs of our first squash plant to bloom this season. Veggies are on the way! The maze is right around the corner and with that comes all the spring fun on our farm. March 2010– still picking strawberries “yum yum” February 2010– Strawberries u-pick every 3-4 days. We are preparing our spring crop and next years blackberry field is doing well :) JANUARY 2010– open for strawberries (u-pick starts Jan 23rd) DECEMBER 2009– our fields are tucked in beds of cover crop for their winters rest. NOVEMBER 2009– fall fun at our farm comes to a close October-Corn Maze open, fall fun! U-pick fall veggies! :) AUGUST/SEPTEMBER 2009- Closed for Summer. See you this Fall! JULY 2009- Happy 4th of July JUNE 2009- Thanks for a great Spring season. We loved sharing our Spring crops and our sunflower maze with everyone. June 7th will bring our Spring veggies to a close. We will be busy working our fields and preparing for our Fall crops and Maze. See you in October:) MAY 2009- SUNFLOWER MAZE OPEN APRIL 2009- Spring Veggies for harvest! HAPPY EARTH DAY! Hope to see you at our farm :) MARCH 2009– Thanks for all the wonderful crop suggestions. The weather has been warm making for a wonderful start for our crops. We have been working hard to get everything planted and ready for you. FEBRUARY 2009– We are planning our Spring and now is the time to give us you input. What veggies are you interested in buying at the farm. We will do our best to accommodate everyone. So email your suggestions! JANUARY 2009– Happy new year! This winter has really been tough on all the veggies. Production is slow when it is cold so bear with us. We have already started focusing on the spring. We are planning our crops and our activities. So keep a look out. December 2008– Merry Christmas! NOVEMBER 2008- Thank you for coming out and sharing our farm with us. The corn maze and fall festivities were a wonderful success this year. A lot of work went into our celebration. Thank you to all who volunteered their time. And to all the smiling, laughter, excitement, togetherness and enjoyment every one who came out shared. We look forward to seeing you back soon. Have a Happy Thanksgiving! AUGUST 2008- After lots of field preparation the Corn is planted. Lots of fall veggies and some pumpkins have also been started. We are getting ready for strawberry season as well. It has been a battle this year with some wild weather but we are still on schedule for a great Fall. See you soon! June 2008 - I just wanted to thank GWP and all the wonderful smiling faces we met at the GWP event. Everyone was so nice. We look forward to seeing you again soon. JUNE 2008- We have plowed the fall corn field and started our mid summer planting. Watch for postings on our upcoming Fall activities. Our squash and zucchini is growing wonderfully along with cucumbers, green beans, okra, watermelon, etc...You should see the pumpkins. The whole family has been working hard and it shows. We can’t wait to share this fall with you!
